A Message From Epling Estates Concerning COVID-19 March 23, 2020
We are open to serve you
while making provisions to help everyone stay healthy.
Please know that Epling Estates is considered an “Essential Business” and will remain open during these unprecedented times. Although we are open, it is not in a business-as-usual capacity. We are working on implementing practices to combat the spread of COVID-19 and ultimately save lives. Below are a few changes we want to communicate for you.
Our office staff will be open for in-person visits by appointment only. We hope to handle most requests via phone, fax, email, and/or utilization of our 24-hour drop box.
Our maintenance team will limit contact as much as practical with current tenants by holding off on completing non-critical and/or cosmetic service requests. We will, as always, remain on call 24/7 for emergency services such as no heat, sewer backup, or water supply line leaks.
We have voluntarily implemented daily temperature checks for every employee prior to the start of each work day, per the request of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. Any employee with a fever will be required to go home until they are well. As a company, we have simultaneously implemented unlimited paid sick time to ensure that this doesn’t create unnecessary hardships.
As a leader, this is not something I have been trained to handle. My staff has been wonderful and unified, but I also can see the stress building. I want to thank you in advance for your cooperative spirit, patience, and perseverance.
